Hawaii Federated Republican Women's Association

Aloha,
With great enthusiasm our newly established Hawaii Federated Republican Women's Association began the process of coming to life.. We met at the Pagoda restaurant in one of their lovely teahouses. We were thrilled to have Lt. Governor Duke Aiona's wife Vivian attend and join our Association.. Also, in attendence were some of our elected State Representatives, ,Barbara Marumoto, Lynn Finnegan, and Corinne Ching. who also joined in to show support for this Association.. Many thanks to all of our attendees for their support, ideas and desire to reach out and make a difference. for themselves, their nation state and city. We will be having our next meeting March 3, at 6 pm - -8 pm at the State RepublicanParty headquarters.. We will be discussing future meeting places and hope that many more women will join our association. Our Association is a unit member of the National Federation of Republican Women. The Republican women's units have existed for over 100 years.NFRW was originally inspired by the Republican Platform of 1872, with the oldest unit founded in Salt Lake City in the late 1800's. The federating of these units came to be known as the NFRW when it was founded September 23-24, 1938. Today it is the largest women's partisan political organization in the country. It is composed of 1800 local units and approxmately 100,000 members in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
We are proud to be a member of a great grassroots organization dedicated to bringing women together to positively impact the direction of our nation, and becoming players at the political table on national, state, and local issues.
